Luna de Papel is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Birthday Party Event Host to join our team. Our art studio hosts a variety of events, including birthday parties and private events, for which we offer an incredibly customized experience for our guests to celebrate. The Birthday Party Event Host will be responsible for helping our guests step into a world of their greatest imagination through leading one-of-a-kind craft activities, fun interactive games, and high energy dance parties. In addition, they will provide a fun and energetic atmosphere, with a focus on ensuring our guests have an unforgettable experience.

Responsibilities include:

• Lead craft activities for guests of all ages
• Host fun interactive games and activities for guests
• Create a high-energy dance party atmosphere for guests
• Set up and decorate the studio space to bring themes to life
• Ensure that guests have a safe and enjoyable experience
• Provide excellent customer service to all guests
• Preparation for each event based on guest chosen themes
• Decorating and arranging the studio for a party
• Cleaning and organizing the space before during and after each event
• Organizing transitions between stages of each event
• Managing the set up and distribution of food and cake

Qualifications:

• 5+ years previous experience in event hosting, preferably in a children's entertainment or party setting
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Energetic and enthusiastic personality
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
• Must be comfortable standing for extended periods of time and able to lift up to 25 lbs

Must have:

• An energetic, outgoing personality with the ability to maintain a warm and fun atmosphere
• Ability to lead and thrive in a fast paced environment
• Must deliver excellent customer service i.e. courteous, knowledgeable and respectful with guests, staff and general public
• Loves working with children and parents
• Maintains a neat and professional appearance
• Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) 8am to 7pm

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
