Passenger Service Agent - Allegiant Airlines
Job description
BASIC DESCRIPTION
Responsible for providing outstanding customer service in passenger services related activities, baggage acceptance, passenger documentation, system actualization, proper air fare and excess baggage charges.
QUALIFICATIONS
Good Customer service and excellent conmunicator.
High School or GED achieved, higher education is a plus.
Bilingual (English-Spanish)
The requirements listed below are representative of documentation required:
- At least 18 years of age.
- Legal to work in United States of America
- Valid Driver’s License (If Applicable)
- Obtain the Airport Driving Permit (If Applicable)
- TSA Security Clearance
- CBP Clearance
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
- Computerized check-in passengers for international and domestic travel
- Seat assignments for the passengers. Verify documentation for international and domestic flights
- Ensure correct boarding passes are provided to each passenger for the assigned flight.
- Verify ticket and seat reservations. Match manifest to on board count
- Assist with various governmental agency requirements
- Connect and disconnect jet way/stairs as necessary. Maintain liaison with airlines and customer representatives and ground handlers.
- Announce arrivals and departures as necessary. Maintain current knowledge of all flight times during shift. Provide information to customers
- Assist with baggage tagging and claim reports
- Close and transfer the flight information.
- Make all sales reports.
- Use the airport ID only during working hours.
- Employee holding jobs with more than one airport contractor is not allowed to use Triangle’s ID with other contractor (Employee must leave the facilities and re-entry with the other contractor ID)
- The employee non US Citizen ensure that he/she legal working documentation (Resident Card, Work Permits) maintain currently and valid. Employee must communicate any changes on legal status notify Human Resources Coordinator immediately.
- Employee with expire documents (Resident Card, Work Permits) have to notify 30 days before expired to human resources coordinator.
- Employee is responsible to inform the management for any damage to the airport id, this include expiration, renewal, readable and legible or pictorial damage.
- Employee failing airport procedures is subject to a fine and id deactivation.
- Any of the listed items on regards to airport ID may lead to employee termination of contract.
