Job Description Below:
This role is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of the company’s payroll for salaried and hourly employees. Teammates in this position should possess a customer service focus, have a strong understanding of payroll laws and compliance, systems, and processing of transactions as well as a willingness to work collaboratively to support other functional areas and initiatives.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with the processing of semi-monthly payroll
- Review and respond to teammate payroll inquiries through the Zendesk ticketing system
- Assist with the coordination of tax filings for all Company locations to ensure they are complete, accurate, and filed timely
- Assist with the coordination of annual W-2 preparation, reconciliation, and distribution
- Enter payroll changes and updates into the payroll system as needed to ensure the accuracy of the information in conjunction with Club Managers
- Assist with the maintenance of employee tax and direct deposit information
- Process and expedite garnishments, withholding orders, and associated paperwork; ensure that the proper forms and payments are made to the appropriate the agencies
- Support ad hoc analysis and reporting requirements; creating new reports as needed
- Provide superb customer care; convey empathy, patience, and listening skills
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Customer service oriented with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential information
- Strong, analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Must be detail-oriented, able to multi-task, and meet critical deadlines
- Team player with the ability to work with and communicate appropriately to all levels of the organization and across functions
Required Experience, Education, and Certifications
- 3-5 years of payroll processing experience
- Experience with Paycom is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- High School Diploma or equivalent GED certificate
- Prior experience with various HRIS systems is a plus
- Position duties require daily standing, walking, sitting, and reaching.

Pay: $48,500.00 - $55,000.00 per year
