SUMMARY OF POSITION

We are looking for an experienced Payroll Clerk to be responsible for the company’s weekly payroll process. This position requires someone with a great attitude and strong work ethic who is detail-oriented and can work in a fast-paced environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Maintains payroll for the company and its employees.

· Ensure accuracy of employee wages, hours, deductions, leave taken and leave balances reported to payroll processing company.

· Update payroll and benefits records for changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, direct deposit, job titles, department/division transfers, etc.

· Ensure all documentation for payroll and benefits is complete and up to date.

· Resolve payroll and benefits discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.

· Provide payroll information for authorized employees or external requests.

· Manage the payroll process through policies and procedures.

· Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential.

QUALIFICATIONS

· Associates Degree or higher in related field preferred.

· Payroll experience required.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

· Paycor experience a plus.
