Job description

Seeking a Director of Payroll in the hospitality industry to supervise all payroll functions. Seeking a candidate with experience managing over 1,500 employees including union and gratuity experience. This position is fully in office.

Responsibilities:

• Manage payroll team to ensure pay is processed on time, accurately and in compliance.
• Oversee processing of updates related to new hires, pay rate changes and terminations.
• Implement and maintain payroll processing system for accuracy.
• Facilitate audits.
• Oversee all processes to make sure they are in line with federal, state and local compliance.
• Identify and implement software, systems, policy and procedures improvements when necessary.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Accounting, Business, Human Resources, or related field.
• 3 to 5 years of hospitality industry experience.
• Union experience.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Extensive knowledge of payroll functions.
• Proficient in Paycom and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent organization skills, analytical skills, attention to detail and problem-solving.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
