Full Time, Location- Hybrid, Orlando, FL (Weekly onsite and remote)

THE KIND OF WORK YOU’LL BE DOING:

• Perform a variety of complex clerical duties related to federal, state, territorial, and local payroll tax payments; run reports to determine the tax payment amount for each taxing agency, complete proper tax payment coupons, maintain accurate payment logs, records, and files and authorize checks to be printed or electronic transfers to be made in accordance with individual payment deadlines.
• Maintain records and files for each taxing agency’s payment history, procedures, and regulations relating to tax payments.
• Prepare and complete quarterly and annual federal tax withholding returns (941) and quarterly withholding returns for other taxing agencies.
• Coordinate W-2 distribution to employees and appropriate taxing agencies. Work with other members of the Payroll Team to ensure established deadlines are met; adjust W-2 records as necessary.
• Provide excellent customer service, responding to telephone and email correspondence inquiries, answering questions and providing information to employees, supervisors and others; interpret, apply and explain laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Respond to staff members’ tax-related questions regarding their Minister’s Housing Allowance. Process any requested annual adjustments to their total amount of Minister’s Housing Allowance for the year.

Required Experience:

• AA degree PLUS

• 1-3 years’ experience in payroll processing or related administrative functions or equivalent combination of education and experience
