We are seeking a Penetration Test Engineer to join our diverse team of cybersecurity professionals. As a member of our team, you 'll contribute to the cyber defense DoD system. You 'll be a member of our diverse team of cybersecurity experts that are leading thought leadership and engineering to address the evolving cyber threat. As a Penetration Test Engineer, you will:


  • Evaluate systems for cyber weaknesses using common exploit tools
  • Conduct research into emerging exploitation techniques and how they affect hosted systems
  • Review code for security vulnerabilities.
  • Work with the test and evaluation team to perform risk assessment activities of external systems
  • Collaborate with other like-minded team members to develop and test cybersecurity attributes.

Qualifications


You meet the minimum requirements if you...

  • Possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mathematics or related technical field.
  • Have 2+ years of experience using common cyber exploit frameworks.
  • Strong programming skills using both Object Oriented and script languages.
  • Experience with Linux operating environment and frameworks.
  • Possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Have the ability to work independently and as a member of the team for vulnerability identification events.
  • Can demonstrate that you are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.   • Hold an active Secret security clearance. If selected, you will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet the requirements for access to classified information. Eligibility requirements include U.S. citizenship.


You 'll go above and beyond our minimum requirements if you...

  • Hold a MS or PhD: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mathematics, Cybersecurity, Computer Information Systems Security or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience evaluating complex system for cybersecurity vulnerabilities.
  • Experience developing exploit scripts using python, ruby, or other language.
  • Have previously participated in Capture the Flag, Sponsored Cyber Competitions, or other similar formats.
  • Hold an industry recognized certification related to penetration testing.
  • Possess a Top Secret level clearance and can ultimately obtain TS/SCI level clearance. If selected, you will be subject to a government security clearance investigation and must meet the requirements for access to classified information. Eligibility requirements include U.S. citizenship.
