Payne Law Firm is a leading criminal defense firm in NWA and the River Valley. This is your invitation to join the team!

Our work is a ton of fun and incredibly rewarding, and we’re on the hunt for a new paralegal here in our Fayetteville office. If you’re professional, outgoing, and generally a pretty fun person to know and work with, we’d love to meet you. We are a far stretch from a conventional "stuffy" law office.

• Idea candidate will grow with the firm into further roles (next step up is Legal Assistant) and responsibilities.
• Bonus based on performance.
• High priority placed on friendliness, cheerfulness, and generally being a person that we/clients want to spend time around.

Who are we looking for?

Our ideal team member is outgoing, cheerful, organized, and ready to play an important role in the continued growth of the firm. Day to day duties include:

• Greeting clients
• Processing Mail
• Coordinating attorney calendar
• Recording meeting notes and minutes
• Scheduling personal appointments
• Running errands and accompanying attorney to court (company vehicle)
• Will attend court appearances with attorney, interact with court staff and clients
• Generally help free up attorney time and anticipate needs

Our ideal candidate is professional, understands the importance of extreme confidentiality, and also knows that his/her job is vitally important to the growth and success of the firm.
