Under broad supervision, this position will be housed in Columbus and will travel to satellite clinics within West Central Health District as indicated. Will work closely with the Ryan White Medical Director. Will perform a variety of duties to include, but not limited to, participate in the planning, organizing, and evaluating the Ryan White program to ensure goals and objectives of the program are met; coordinate program services with other service providers and community organizations to ensure optimal patient care, and develop and sustain community partnerships. This position will provide professional nursing care in accordance with nurse protocols, policies, and procedures, supervise, guide, and/or instruct the work of assigned staff.

Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited college or university AND Two years of nursing experience AND current Georgia license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse AND CPR certification OR Associate’s degree in nursing from an accredited college or university AND Three years of nursing experience AND completion of a PHN course within one year of hire AND current Georgia license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse AND CPR certification.

All West Central Health District 7 employees are deemed essential workers in the event of an emergency. As such, you may be called on to participate in an event including but not limited to: staffing a shelter, working at a Specimen Point of Collection Site (SPOC) and/or working at a Point of Dispensing site (POD). If you are called on to participate, you are required to report to the designated site as a condition of employment, whether the emergency occurs during or outside regular work hours.
