We are currently looking for a dedicated pharmacist with a passion for learning, problem solving, collaboration, and a commitment to customer service to join our team of over 100 employees.

Essential Responsibilities

In addition to supporting the Director of Pharmacy in directing technicians and support staff, you will be responsible for the oversight and operation of all aspects within your department, including:

  • Ensuring accurate and safe dispensing of medications and medical supplies in accordance with pharmacy protocols, physician orders, and specific packaging requirements
  • Educating patients, caregivers, and facility staff on proper use of medication
  • Resolving patient concerns and complaints
  • Managing workflow and ensuring proper follow-through in a fast-paced environment
  • Offering clinical decision support and drug information for physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
  • Conducting patient profile monitoring and performing drug utilization review monitoring as necessary
  • Supervising and coordinating the activities of pharmacy technicians, drivers, and other department personnel
  • Assuming evening, weekend, and holiday responsibilities in accordance with company guidelines
Requirements:

Requirements

  • Bachelors of Science or PharmD from an accredited College of Pharmacy
  • Registered Pharmacist in Massachusetts with license in good standing
  • 1+ years of retail or long term care experience required; 2+ years of retail or long term care experience preferred
  • Immunization certification via accredited organization
  • QS1 software experience preferred
