Allivet Pet Pharmacy is seeking Full-Time Registered Pharmacy Technicians to join our growing team.
Position Requirements:
The successful candidate will need excellent customer service skills (genuinely friendly, courteous, and helpful). Applicant must have a strong work ethic, friendly demeanor, love animals, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service to veterinarians and pet owners. Must be able to work in high volume, fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
Essential Functions:

- Prepare and package orders to be shipped out each day
- Ensure product is accurate and neatly packaged
- Comply with all security measures and quality standards
- Able to operate equipment such as counters and PARATA machine
- Assist in inventory control including restocking inventory
- Count, seal, and label medications while maintaining high volume production goals.
- Present labeled medication to pharmacist for medication and labeling review
- Pull drugs and match name to prescription labels
- Responsible for the proper and accurate filling of each individual order
- Responsible to assist in the upkeep and cleanliness of each workstation
- Maintain and keep reasonable production as determined by supervisor
- Assist in keeping adequate stocking levels
- Responsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programs
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Must be available, and on-time for scheduled work shifts
Qualifications:
- Registered Pharmacy Technician License -Indiana
- Minimum of 1-year pharmacy technician experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail
- Pet Pharmacy or any experience working with animals is a plus
- Proficient in the use of PCs
- Knowledge of all Pharmacy Standards
- Basic math skills
- Standing for long periods
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Upbeat personality with a helpful and friendly attitude
