Riverside Cancer Infusion Center in Newport News, Virginia is currently seeking a full-time Pharmacy Tech.
Works under the supervision of Pharmacists and Pharmacy Managers. Assists in various activities in the pharmacy not requiring the professional judgement of a pharmacist. Performs pharmacy related duties in compliance with department policies and procedures. Demonstrates and maintains competency in all technician tasks and functions. Responsible for the oversight of select areas/functions in the department as designated. Available to work all shifts (days, evenings, and nights, where applicable) to meet the needs of the department. Arranges sequence and timing of work to meet normal and variable work requirements. Provides technical support in any or all of the following pharmacy functions. Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements: Pharmacy Technician Licensure (not Tech Trainee) with the State of Virginia required, National Pharmacy Tech certification (PTCB or ExCPT) required.
