Phone Nurse (LPN/RN)
Job description
We are looking for a reliable LPN or RN for a phone nurse position in our busy and growing Neurology practice.
You will work under the supervision of a registered nurse or doctor. The ideal candidate will be experienced in providing diverse basic care to those who need it while remaining patient and calm.
Responsibilities
- Answering phone calls/voicemails daily and collaborating directly with office staff and providers.
- Assisting with infusions as needed
Skills
- Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices
- Excellent knowledge of medical and hospital terminology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and able to handle stress
- Successful completion of LPN or RN license program is a must
