Job description
The Staff Physical Therapist is responsible for providing therapy services, upon referral from an appropriate licensed practitioner, to patients including assessment, treatment planning, and implementation related documentation and communication. Evaluates and treats patients in order to produce effective outcomes. Communicates and assists in resolving problems. Demonstrates effective resource utilization that is critical to operational stability within the organization. Participates in performance improvement and program growth.
Qualifications - External
EducationRequired: Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy or Doctorate Physical Therapy, in accordance with the State of Florida requirements for licensure.
ExperienceRequired: Physical Therapy Experience
Preferred: Minimum of 2 years as a practicing PT in a healthcare setting. Inpatient and/or Neuro experience preferred
CertificationsRequired: Physical Therapist Florida State Licensure and American Heart Association BLS
