Job description
Position Summary:
Under direction of the Plant Engineer, the PLC technician is responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting PLC, testing and repairing electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and controls.

Shift Details:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 am -4:30 pm
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Maintains company required programs for equipment.
- Assist with resolving PLC programming issues.
- Create new program and support implementation of new programming.
- Create, maintain and update all necessary documentation.
- Ability to use logic and reasoning to ID strengths and weaknesses of alternate solutions.
- Troubleshoots electronic devices in operations.
- Designs, upgrades and installs electrical equipment.
- Computer skills, control and ladder logic, Allen Bradley programming.
- Mentor and develop other co-workers.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Ability to work independent on project assign by supervisor
- 5-8 years experience with controls, sensors, vision systems, robotic extranet systems, etc. in a production environment.
- Experience with Allen Bradley controls systems required.
- Associates degree in-process controls technology, certification or two (2) years’ experience required
- Experience with food processing plants a plus.
- High attention to detail and strong documentation skills.
- A self- motivated team player with good interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and a solid work ethic
- Follow safety rules and keep work area in a clean and orderly condition
- Bilingual a plus
