Job description

We are seeking a Pool Technician to maintain and repair in-ground swimming pools. The ideal candidate for this position will be familiar with the repair and replacement of pool equipment and the cleaning and maintenance of pool tiles, walls, decking and water. As a Pool Technician you will also be responsible for checking chemical levels, ensuring that all equipment is functioning correctly, and dealing with any issues or problems that occur on a day-to-day basis.

Pool technician responsibilities:

• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of residential swimming pools.
• Drive yourself between job sites using a company vehicle
• Test the chemical levels in our clients' pool water
• Add chemicals like chlorine to the water as necessary
• Answer all questions that the client may have about pool maintenance thoroughly and professionally.
• Be an expert at proper equipment maintenance.
• Have good interpersonal skills.
• Report any major pool defects to management immediately to problem solve for the client.

Pool service technician requirements:

• High school diploma or equivilant
• Previous experience in a similar role is strongly preferred
• Valid driver's license
• Clean driving record
• No felonies in the last 3 years, no violent felonies at any time
• Professionalist with strong customer service skills
• Familiar with common pool maintenance products and techniques

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour
