Overview:

The Porter maintains the cleanliness of the F&B Department to comply with all Safety, Health and Sanitation Standards.

Responsibilities:

• Remove and clean all linen bins/garbage bins from kitchen & pantry, place clean linen/garbage bags and make sure are sanitized and dry.
• Fulfill all bar/kitchen/pantry requisitions. Maintain equipment pars, keep an inventory for refrigerated items milk, juice, soda etc. Work directly with the Maitre’d and waitstaff to resolve any immediate issues (needs) and communicate with the BOH Manager to anticipate increase of guarantee numbers for specific functions
• Wipe and sanitize all stainless steel counter tops as well as underneath.
• Clean and sanitize all interior and exterior of walk-in boxes, to include doors and gasket.
• Assist in programs/banquet set up and break down equipment needs, and program set-up and breakdown.
• Wipe and sanitze all stainless steel counter tops as well as underneath, dish machine must be cleaned upon closing.
• Detailing list for the kitchen & pantries will be provided on a need basis by the supervisor.
• Supply and Transport wood logs for Grill Room & Main Entrance chimney.
• Support the bar by providing glassware and kitchen utensils.
• Deliver wine, beer, liquor to bar prior to service.

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• On call
• Weekend availability

• New York, NY 10036: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Shift availability:
