Metropolitan Management Group is looking for a Porter to join our team at The Metropolitan in the
Wyomissing, PA area! In this role, you will be responsible for the general cleanliness of the property/building and apartments before move in. The schedule will be balanced between two of our local properties (The Lofts at Narrow and The Metropolitan). Work schedule will be Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.

A successful Porter will ensure that the building and apartments are clean and that communication is clear and consistent with the Property Manager on status of work tasks and cleaning needs for the property. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize the interior, exterior, hallways, stairwells, and entryways of the building.
• Clean the pathway to the garage.
• Clean the walls and floors in the elevators.
• Clean the community room.
• Work with Maintenance on trash walks and ensuring areas of the property are free of trash and debris.
• Assist with the refresh cleaning of apartments ready for move in.
• Clean, stock and supply designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc.)
• Carry out projects if needed.
• Notify Property Manager of any issues that need additional support or attention, including

Maintenance needs.

• Reviews and maintains integrity of janitorial equipment.
• Monitors availability of housekeeping supplies.
• Recommends process improvement changes to management relative to housekeeping as needed.
• Adheres to janitorial and safety standards and specifications.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• HS Diploma or GED
• Ability to lift 50lbs
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to be flexible with schedule based on needs at two of our communities (Mondays,

Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays)
