Premier private spine practice in historic Charleston, South Carolina

We are a Spine focused multi-specialty group expanding our practice in the Mount Pleasant area of Charleston, SC. We are looking for a Neurosurgeon focusing on Spine to join three Orthopedic Spine Surgeons, one Neurosurgeon, one PMR physician, two Pain Management physicians, one Vascular Surgeon, one Neurologist and 12 Physician Assistants.

Our practice is thriving, and we need to add another Spine Neurosurgeon to our practice. The work will be split 50% surgical and 50% clinical. Our fast paced and well-run office allows you to see 45-50 patients a day in full day clinics and 25-30 patients in half day clinics with Physician Assistant support. Weekly surgical volume is expected to be 8-10 surgeries a week with another surgeon and Physician Assistant support. We rotate one week and one weekend per month on call, and call is for the practice only and does not include hospital call. Physician Assistants are available to assist with all initial call consults and hospital rounds.

The clinic is one block from East Cooper Medical Center. Our three-story clinic opened in 2020 and has 65,000 sf and features six ambulatory surgery and outpatient procedure rooms with added overnight capabilities. The facility also houses two large bore MRIs. Our new facility also offers expanded parking and more convenient patient care for the growing Mt. Pleasant and greater Charleston-area populations.
