Job description
The Hospital Parking Enforcement Representative’s primary responsibility is to ensure employees comply with the employee parking policy and address violations, as necessary. The position will occasionally require traffic direction, operation of gates and parking equipment to alleviate backups in parking areas, customer service, including assistance with use of pay stations, campus navigation, and conducting minor equipment troubleshooting.
- Ability to clearly articulate parking violations and communicate with others in a polite and professional manner
- Strong verbal and written communication skills along with active listening
- Sense of urgency and timeliness
- Ability to manage difficult situations with little supervision
- Open to feedback and coaching
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Professional appearance, dress, and attitude
- Ability to lift and install vehicle immobilization devices (approx. 20 lbs.)
- Ability to operate a golf cart
