Preschool Teacher
Job description
Private Preschool in North Royalton is seeking a happy, nurturing passionate, responsible, caring, flexible, and creative person to join the team as a preschool teacher. This position is late August through May.

Education Preferences and Requirements
· High School Diploma or equivalent REQUIRED
· Related college-level course work or CDA course work preferred
· Associate's or higher in Early Childhood Education preferred
· Knowledge of Ohio Early Learning and Development Standards preferred and will be required to obtain the knowledge through training
· Create and maintain state requirements through OCCRRA including Professional Development Requirements
· Required Certifications within 6 months of hire: First Aid/CPR/Communicable Disease/Child Abuse (we will offer these courses occasionally or you may obtain the certifications on your own)
Additional Requirements for Employment
· Ability to pass a federal background check
· Ability to pass a drug screening
· Able to lift ~30 pounds
· Extended periods of time standing
· Extended periods of time sitting on the floor with the children
· Ability to work a shift between 8:30 am – 1:00 pm
· Reliable transportation to the place of employment located in North Royalton, OH
· Ability to communicate effectively with parents regarding their child while respectfully staying within HIPPA restrictions and guidelines
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Maintaining and following through with the Ohio Department of Jobs and Family Services rules and standards in a classroom.
· Executing our curriculum timely.
· A person who is self-motivated and organized.
· Someone with a background in child development who understands the importance of each milestone a child should experience.
· Complete progress reports for each student November, February, and May.
· I am looking for a teacher that is patient and has the skill set to problem solve as situations arise.
· Someone that will continue the rigorous cleaning and disinfecting requirements to keep all children and staff safe.
The hours are 15-20 hours per week. Approximate shift is 8:45 am -11:45 am, Monday through Friday. We also have other opportunities if you are looking for full-time employment. We follow the North Royalton City School Calendar for closure days.

Pay: $11.00 - $15.00 per hour
