Job description
We are a Holding Company investing in IT Consulting companies on the West Coast and Colorado for which we are looking for company leaders (President, Director of Delivery) to lead the acquired companies. Of high interest are candidates located in Sacramento / Bay Area and Greater Denver area with background in:
- Public Sector Consulting with specialization in IT or Management.
- Project Management, Systems Integration, and Project Implementation.
- IT Consulting, Staffing, or Project based implementation services.
- Book of Business in Government IT Consulting or Fortune 500 Private Sector.

Leadership roles will include performing strategic planning, business development, financial management, and client relationships. This position requires a deep understanding of the government IT industry, as well as strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the government IT landscape and experience leading large-scale IT projects for government clients focusing on California, Washington, Colorado, and Oregon
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and implement a strategic plan to grow the company's business, expand its client base, and increase revenue.
· Oversee the delivery of high-quality IT consulting services to government clients, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet client expectations.
· Foster and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and identify opportunities to expand business with them.
· Develop new business by identifying potential clients, building relationships, and pursuing opportunities to win new contracts.
· Manage and mentor a team of IT professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure that they deliver exceptional results.
· Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and assess their impact on the company's operations and strategy.
· Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, as well as the company's policies and procedures.
· Develop and maintain a strong corporate culture that aligns with the company's values and fosters collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
· Represent the company in public forums, speaking engagements, and industry events, and build the company's reputation as a thought leader in the government IT space.
Qualities:
· Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, business, or a related field.
· At least 10 years of experience in government IT consulting, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality services to clients.
· Strong leadership and management skills, with experience managing teams of at least 30 people.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
· Proven ability to develop and execute successful business development strategies, with a deep understanding of the government IT industry and its trends and challenges.
· Strong financial management skills, with experience managing budgets and forecasting financial performance.
· Knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in government IT, including cloud computing, cybersecurity, and data analytics.
· Prior P&L experience delivering results
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and strategically.
· Master's degree in business administration or a related field is preferred.
Applicants with the following current/previous titles would be ideal:
- Chief Operating Officer, President, or Principal
- VP of Operations, or Chief Operating Officer
- Director of Business Development or Sales
- Director of Service Delivery, Consulting
Note that since the companies being acquired are small businesses with 10-35 employees, the ideal applicant is required to be hands on and closely involved with running a small organization. We are only looking for candidates with service background in IT Consulting, Managing Consulting, Staffing, or Project Based Services.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $150,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
