US?

DESOTEC, a Belgium-based company acquired by Blackstone in 2021, is Europe’s market leading provider of mobile filtration solutions. Since its inception in 1990,
Desotec has pioneered the market for mobile filters, achieving exponential growth across its five key application fields of air emissions, biogas, chemicals, remediation, and wastewater. Headquartered in Roeselare, Belgium, DESOTEC today employs approximately 250 people across Europe, and has continued to expand into new markets throughout the last decade.  

We are now stepping into the US market with our solutions for the growing filtration demands in North America. Next to our acquisition of the Reactivation and Exchange Services Business of Evoqua Water Technologies, we will leverage our European expertise to continue our successful growth path. Expansion means extra – very much needed – skilled, enthusiastic and energetic people. That’s where you come in!

As a Procurement Manager – US at DESOTEC you get the responsibility to…

Develop and implement procurement strategies that support business objectives

Manage the procurement process, including sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing of goods and services

Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services

Evaluate supplier performance and negotiate contracts to achieve cost savings and improved service levels

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure procurement activities are aligned with business needs

Monitor and report on procurement metrics, including cost savings and supplier performance

Manage inventory levels to ensure adequate supply of goods and materials

Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures

Lead procurement projects and initiatives as required

Who are you as a Procurement Manager – US at
DESOTEC?

You have a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Supply
Chain Management, or related field.

You have 10 years of work experience (and at least several years of work experience in procurement, supply chain management, or vendor management).

You ideally live in the region of Pennsylvania and are willing to travel

You possess strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.

You have a proven track record of achieving cost savings and improving supplier performance.

You have experience with procurement software and tools.

You are a great multitasker and have zero problems managing multiple projects and priorities.

DESOTEC’s sustainable mobile filtration solutions based on activated carbon are deployed for the treatment of Air Emissions, Wastewater, Chemicals and Biogas.
Through a rental model, our filters are distributed to production companies. Once the filter is saturated, it is replaced, and the spent carbon sent for reactivation.
That is how we unburden our customers of the administrative, moral, logistical and ecological consequences of their purification needs. The result: they can focus 100% on what really counts - sustainable production.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $86,170.20 per year
