SMSI, LLC is seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to support LANL Acquisition Services Management team. Activities will include, but are not limited to (1) implementing compliant procurements within established policies and procedures, (2) providing resolutions to an assortment of problems of moderately complex scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors, (3) contributing to the fulfillment of projects and organizational objectives and (4) performing subcontract award, administration and closeout activities in accordance with the Laboratory s approved procurement system. Failure to achieve results or erroneous judgments may require the allocation of additional resources to correct and/or achieve procurement goals.

Work is at Oak Ridge, TN. The need is immediate. Position is full-time.

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor's in Supply Chain or related field
• Minimum of 5 years' related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ariba experience preferred
• Prior experience working under a Government Approved Purchasing System and have intimate familiarity with FAR requirements. Evidence of the experience shall be provided in applicant s resume.
