Job Title: Product Data Specialist
Hours: M-F, 8:00a - 5:00p

We are currently hiring a Product Data Specialist in our
Southington or East Hartford Office due to an internal promotion. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing various data files within the company; including but not limited to price lines, buy lines, and new products. You love analyzing data, improving processes and have amazing attention to detail. You never let things slip through the cracks. You will work closely with several other departments including, IT, Purchasing, Accounts Payable and Product Managers. You will be responsible for continually seeking out new tools to simplify and automate your area of expertise. Data Analysis skills are highly desirable.
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain and improve product data within our ERP & future systems
- Support the purchasing team by working with the buyers, product managers and vendors to maintain current price sheets
- Collaborate with team members to improve product data for reports and KPI’s
- Evaluate current processes to help streamline and better use technology
- Audit New Products reports to ensure accuracy
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Proficient in most MS Office Applications (Word, Powerpoint, Outlook)
- Expert in MS Excel
- Some experience with ERP systems is required (this experience could be what you have already learned on-the-job or in school)
- Previous analytical role is a plus
- Excellent communication skills
- Critical thinking skills
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Ability to work independently
- Attention to Detail
