Mitsubishi Electric Trane HVAC US LLC is looking for a Product Information Systems Management Manager in Suwanee, GA.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The position will develop, manage and maintain the PIM application. Primary responsibilities will include management of the company’s PIM (product information management database) and the data team. This includes developing information workflows and processes and mapping the strategy for integration of database use expansion across other departments within the company. This position is responsible for data storage and retrieval systems, troubleshooting database issues and implementing database recovery procedures and safety protocols. This will be an active working position assisting the data team as needed to execute all deliverables within specified guidelines. The position will collaborate across all Marketing team members, Product Management, Applications, Service, Customer Care, IT and others as needed.

The essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Develop strategy, processes and procedures for product information management, PIM
  • Manage the details of product content resources, delivery channels, data quality and governance
  • Establish best practices and workflows for data input/output for the PIM
  • Ensure System Health including Monitoring of applications performance; identification of system issues and resolutions
  • Develop delivery, publication templates, for product information flow to customers and vendors, website, etc.
  • Reporting as required for usage / adoption metrics
  • Providing user training, support and feedback
  • Create, edit and distribute FAQ’s and help guides for users
  • Evaluate change request, document business needs, analysis of need to determine solution
  • Develop and document database structures and features
  • Develop and maintain data security and restoration policies, procedures and control
  • Daily management of database operation
  • Work with IT to identify any issues within IT ecosystem
  • Escalate complex issues or problems outside of this job function to IT for assistance
  • Performs other job functions as assigned

Education/Experience/Training:

  • BS in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field
  • Master Data Management and Strategy understanding
  • Experience with Enable or other PIM system
  • Exceptional query skills against relational databases and files (Excel, Access or SQL)
  • Strong detail, organizational and time management skills
  • 1-3 years of progressive database experience with similar technology or manufacturing company - VRF/HVAC industry experience preferred
  • Possess a technical and analytical aptitude
  • Ability to translate complex problems clearly and in nontechnical terms
  • Motivated self-starter comfortable with tight deadlines and accepting guidance and feedback
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $96,000 and $132,000/year however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.



The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including target bonus plans and discretionary awards. Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans then in effect, eligible employees may enroll in a 401(k) plan, as well as participate in Company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance plans for the employee and the employee’s eligible dependents. Employees will also receive 80 hours of vacation per year, 56 hours of paid sick leave annually, and 13 paid holidays throughout the calendar year, depending on hire date. Employees may also take up to 12 weeks of paid or unpaid [parental/disability/emergency/etc.] leave, if eligible.
