Job Title: Product Owner - Software
Department: Technology
Reports To: Chief Business Solutions Architect

Job Location: Huntersville, NC or RTP-Durham, NC. Hybrid option OK
Job Summary:
Atom Power, the leader in networked energy, is looking for a Product Owner to join our team in driving the smarter and more sustainable consumption of energy within the EVSE market. The Product Owner will play a key role within the company with primary responsibility for the EVSE software roadmap and go-to-market strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure prioritization and translation of customer and market requirements with the Atom Power Agile team and ecosystem integration partners
- Focus on software capability delivery aligned with the company's strategic direction
- Understand the competitive environment and how it relates to the company strategy
- Translate solution, capability, an feature requirements to Stories with clear acceptance criteria
- Participate in capability demo and retrospectives, representing the customer and managing acceptance of sprint deliverables
- Manage backlogs to refine execution and maintain deliverables consistent with customer and market requirements, both conceptually and technically
- Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize Stories, Epics, and Themes to ensure work focuses on outputs that maximize value and align with company strategy
- Develop relationships with customers, sales, product managers, engineering, marketing, and operations
- Contribute to solution vision, roadmap, and financial success
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Possess a thorough understanding of energy markets and the mechanics of energy market operations
- Experience in Agile development IoT and SaaS
- Strong business acumen with in-depth knowledge of Agile processes and principles
- Problem solving mind-set
- Excellent communication and prioritization skills
- Relentlessly market focused
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive them to completion
- Cross functionally collaborative
What you bring:
- Minimum five (5) years work experience in IoT, SaaS, and/or connected/smart products
- B.A or B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required
- Experience translating solution requirements into Epics, Features, and Stories with clear definition and acceptance criteria
- Customer facing experience in the electrical industry
Would love to see:
