About This Opportunity
JOB TITLE: Production Associate
POSITION TYPE: Full time
CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt

Choose your shift!
PM shift (6PM - 6AM), on a 2-2-3 schedule OR
Relief shift, hours swing between AM shift (6AM - 6PM) and PM shift (6PM - 6AM) based on plant need
Weekends and holidays scheduled on a rotating basis.

STARTING PAY RATE: $ 20.74 /hour, plus an additional $2/hour shift premium for working PM shift .

Employees earn $24.40 - $25.15/hour after completing their probationary period.

If you have two or more years of dairy manufacturing plant experience, you are eligible for a $3,000 sign-on bonus at Foremost Farms. All others are eligible for a $1,500 sign-on bonus.

PLANT INFORMATION: Your future career is at Foremost Farms USA! Help us make Wisconsin Cheese for some of the world’s most recognized brands. We produce made-to-order, customized blends of Wisconsin cheese for food service and food processing applications. This plant produces around 400,000 pounds of mozzarella cheese per day; produces 3 million pounds of whey protein concentrate per month and receives about 2.4 million pounds of milk per day. Our production associates play an extremely important role in the seven-day a week operation, providing support in cheese making, whey processing, packaging, and sanitation duties.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• No prior experience needed; on-the-job training is provided. Previous experience in manufacturing is a plus
• Ability to read and comprehend standard operating procedures and labels
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMP's, OSHA and loss control programs is highly desirable
• Ability to operate human machine interfaces (HMI) and computers
• Basic math skills: addition and subtraction
• Ability to tell time
• Participation in a team environment
• Must be detail orientated
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced work environment
• Must be at least 18+ years old
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds with reasonable accommodations
• Ability to stand for the duration of shift
• Willing to use a forklift (training is provided)
