Production Manager – Hebron, IN
South Lake Stone is an active limestone quarry located in Northwest Indiana. South Lake Stone supplies construction materials for heavy highway, industrial, commercial, and residential projects in the public and private market sectors. We take pride in providing high quality materials in a safe manner.
SUMMARY
Manage necessary planning, scheduling, and quality of production operations with keen attention to safety and efficiency.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Lead and manage all safety measures including but not limited to quality control, customer service, production and maintenance functions.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Financial budgeting, cost analysis, and forecasting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (preferably Mining or Civil) and / or 5+ years of plant management experience at a mining operation or equivalent.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
- Self-motivated; ability to work independently.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- High degree of attention to detail.
- Must be able to work outdoors in all seasons.
