POSITION: Line Mechanics

REPORTS TO: Production Mechanic Supervisor

RESPONSIBILITIES:

a) Must be able to set up and troubleshoot label machines, tube fillers, single piston fillers, high speed fillers, induction sealers, torque machines, capper machines, heat tunnels, coders, case sealers and finished product scales.

b) Verify all machines are sanitized prior to assembling machine.

c) Must be responsible for signing and tagging assembled machines with clean green tag.

d) Must be responsible for all primary maintenance on assigned lines.

e) Verify components prior to set up.

f) Follow downtime escalation procedure.

g) Must keep assigned lines clean, safe and remove any equipment not used (if production is scheduled online) to designated area.

h) Able to understand what must be accomplished.

i) Must be responsible for completing scheduled orders in a timely fashion.

j) Must be able to work with as part of a team.

k) Check Product to ensure Quality.

l) Follow established safety rules and regulations.

m) Maintain a safe and clean workspace.

REQUIREMENTS:

· Experience working with equipment in a manufacturing setting.

· Able to lift at least 50 lbs.

· Stand for an 8-hour shift.

· Committed to quality, safety, and communication.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-speed environment.

· Must be reliable to work daily.

· Must be willing to work overtime and sometimes weekends.

Must be eligible to work in the US and pass a Background Check and Drug Screening.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.50 - $19.50 per hour
