New Wages! 18.00/hr.
1st Shift Schedule: 4 x 10 schedule Monday through Thursday, 6am start to 4:30pm end (up to 5pm with OT)

Hearth & Home Technologies is an operating division of HNI Corporation (NYSE: HNI). We design, manufacture, and distribute a wide variety of gas, electric, wood and biomass burning fireplaces, inserts, stoves, and accessories.

Role and responsibilities:

Our Production Techs are responsible for preparing and constructing Hearth & Home Technologies’ industry-leading fireplaces, stoves, and hearth products. Production Techs use a variety of small hand tools and lightweight power tools.

• Must be able to lift up to 45 lbs. continuously
• Must be able to use small hand tools or light powered tools to construct sub-assemblies, assemblies, or finished products.
• Must be able to perform various duties and job rotations.
• Operates machinery to fabricate sub-assemblies and/or parts.
• Performs box out and packaging processes.
• Completes quality and safety checks, procedures, and documentation.
• Performs equipment preventative maintenance as directed.
• Practices safety awareness
• Participates in continuous improvement activities.
• Recognizes and responds to internal and external customer needs.
