About our Agency: Holly Place a THP + FC Program
Do you want to make a difference in the lives of individuals 18-21 years of age? Holly Place is a non-profit organization that provides assistance to support individuals who are transitioning out of foster care into independent living. We are looking for highly motivated, enthusiastic and hardworking individuals. We offer competitive pay and a dynamic work environment. Currently we have positions available in Solano County, Alameda County, Contra Costa County and Stanislaus County.
The ideal candidate shall meet the following education or experience requirements:
A. Master’s Degree from an accredited graduate school or a graduate school approved by the California Private Post-Secondary and Vocational Education Bureau in social work or social welfare; marriage, family and child counseling; child psychology, child development; counseling psychology, social psychology; clinical psychology or educational psychology; education with an emphasis on counseling; or Master’s Degree in human services or behavioral science.
B. Have three semester units or 100 days of field experience in a public or private social service agency setting at the Master’s Degree level; or, nine semester units or 18 months of experience working with individuals 18-21 years of age; or three semester units in working with minority groups; or six months of experience in working with minority groups; or six months in-service training in working with minority groups within the first year of employment as a condition of employment; or, three semester units in social welfare, or two years of experience in a public or private social welfare services setting.
Duties will include but not limited to:
A. The Administrator is responsible for the overall operation of the THP+ FC program; and maintaining the facility and program in compliance with Title 22, Division 6, Chapter 7 regulations. B. The Administrator will be present or readily available in the administrative office during regular business hours from 9 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday. When the Administrator is absent during regular business hours and on Saturdays and Sundays there will be coverage by the administrator’s designee who also meets the qualifications for an Administrator as described above. The Administrator’s designee shall have knowledge of the THP+ FC program, training in programs provided by the THP+ FC program, authority to correct deficiencies that constitute immediate threats to the health and safety of NMDs. C. The Administrator has the authority to dismiss staff and develop and administer a program of staff development and training for all staff.
B. Evaluation and assessment of the clients for participation in the program.
C. Supervision of the placement of clients in the program.
D. Maintain, supervise and implement in-take procedures for a clients participation in the program.
E. Obtain a Transitional Independent Living Plan for the clients participation in the program.
F. Interview and review all in-take information to determine the program’s ability to meet the clients needs and to continue to meet the needs of the client in the program.
