Eaton’s EPG CPD Circuit Protection Division is currently seeking a Program Manager. This position is located at our Moon Township, PA facility. Relocation assistance will be provided.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $101250.0 - $148500.0 a year.

What you’ll do:
The Program Manager’s primary responsibilities are to lead cross-functional project teams on globally integrated new product development programs. Projects will be executed within phased gated process framework. The program manager is responsible for managing deliverables across the team to ensure delivery is aligned to committed schedules, cost goals and constraints, and product quality. The program manager communicates project status across the organization leading their teams to deliver project objectives in support of Eaton’s Molded Case Circuit Breakers, Air Circuit Breakers, Medium Voltage Circuit Breakers and Vacuum Interrupters.
- Develop comprehensive program management plans to include Scope, Budget, WBS, Schedule, Resource, Risk Management, Capital, Communications, etc. Manages technology and product portfolio.
- Execute effective resource management of allocated human and material resources. Responsible for working with Team members and resource managers to ensure allocations meet program needs and any gaps are identified and effectively mitigated or escalated.
- Baseline the program, manages the requirements and considers the full business scenario to effectively control & navigate scope challenges.
- Regularly monitor, communicate and control program performance against plan, make adjustments, and drive clear actions to address gaps.
- Ensure that all members of the Program Team execute the program plan in adherence with standard phase gate methodology, e.g. PROLaunch, PACE, or equivalent phase gate process experience.
- Understand risk identification and management; proactively mitigates program risks and takes advantage of opportunities.
- Facilitate effective and clear communications with all internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop key relationships across multiple functions, both internally and externally. Establishes and maintains effective relationships with decision-makers, while holding them accountable to their commitments.
- Understand the program business case and the financial impact of program decisions and performance.
- Drive importance of meeting business & financial commitments across the program team and communicates impact of program/technical decisions on the financials.
- Apply Decision Quality Framework when appropriate. Analyze only accurate data and quality assumptions.
- Provide recognition to team members and ensures that individuals feel that they are an important part of a cohesive team.
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in product development, manufacturing, or engineering
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in project management
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering from an accredited institution
- MBA from an accredited institution
- 6 or more years’ experience in Program Management; or a combination of Program Management with some Engineering and/or Product Development Management
- PMP or equivalent certification
- Experienced in New Product Development (NPD) programs
Skills:
- Ability to travel up to 10%
- Proven Leadership skills - capability to lead change in an Integrated Team (IPT) environment across multiple sites and customers globally
- Fully demonstrating to proficient in Program and Project Management methodologies, processes and tools
- Strong analytical skills and business acumen
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong presentation aptitude and public speaking experience
- Detailed planning ability and strong organizational skills
- Strong leadership, motivational, and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated problem-solving ability and an innovative mind set
- Practical experience and understanding of the electrical industry such as construction and industrial markets
