The Program Manager manages all aspects of DHL’s New Hire Onboarding Program. This includes governance, reporting, planning, implementation, and oversight of on-site execution. The Program Manager will collaborate and coordinate with departments involved
The Program Manager manages all aspects of DHL’s New Hire Onboarding Program. This includes governance, reporting, planning, implementation, and oversight of on-site execution. The Program Manager will collaborate and coordinate with all departments involved: Training, HR, Operations, CES Team, In House Consulting, Quality and Safety to ensure the program and content is best in class, updated for accuracy, compliance and takes peak period, varying class sizes and varying DC sizes into account.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Full governance of program including the strategic approach, planning, implementation, reporting, and oversight of on-site executions
- Ensure standardized program implementations across the network through collaboration with multiple teams, DC Leadership, HR & Training team
- Responsible to ensure site implementations are project managed, coordinated and on schedule
- Perform quality control on program throughout implementations to maintain the standards expected
- Create and maintain a roadmap for the new hire program, including continuous learning during year 1 of the employee life cycle
- Facilitate the onboarding program several times per year
- Set targets and milestones to achieve the business objectives laid out for the program
- Meet regularly with stakeholders to make communication easy and transparent regarding program status, issues, risks, roll outs, future changes
- Produce accurate and timely reporting on program results for all established KPIs
- Capture baselines and targets as well as expected improvements from initiatives within the program
- Lead program content development initiatives with Developers, In-House Consulting and outsource agencies
- Responsible for maintaining and publishing a roadmap of program updates and coordinating content revisions with all content owners (quality, safety, HR and others).
- Ensure Training the DHL Way program is fully incorporated in the operations portion of the program
- Establish program budget and work within budget once approved
- Liaise with the CES Team to incorporate CES Foundations into Program
- Strive to develop the program in line with the DPDHL 2025 Strategy to accelerate digital transformation
- Liaise with other DHL business units to share ideas, implement group best practices
- Promote program and raise awareness through newsletter and intranet articles, promotion of success cases
Requirements and Skills:
- Proven track record of project / program management
- Highly analytical and organized

- Outstanding planning, resource, and stakeholder manager
- Knowledge and experience with Adult Learning Methods
- Good Facilitation Skills (additional in-house training will be provided)
- Experience with data and metrics management
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal to all levels of the organization
- Excellent presentation skills using MS PowerPoint
- Strong Excel skills
Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- 5 years of project and program management experience
- Experience in the logistics industry a plus
- Project Management certification (e.g., PMP) a plus
- First Choice (Six Sigma) certification a plus
Physical Demands:
- Mainly first shift and able to work a range of shifts based on operational needs.
- Physical demands are consistent with a professional office setting.
- Frequent standing and walking.
- Up to 50% travel may be required for offsite meetings and training
