CASA of Lane County is currently hiring for a full-time Program Support Assistant. The Program Support Assistant provides administrative support to the Program Director and other program staff, reception duties, data entry as well as maintaining office hours and support day to day operations.

Job Description

Program Support Assistant

Required:

· Commitment to CASA of Lane County’s mission, vision, and organizational values.

· Ability to work autonomously and exercise critical thinking in decision making.

· Strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills.

· Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in record keeping and shared information.

· Ability to work collaboratively from home or in a hybrid work environment (laptop supplied through CASA) while protecting the confidentiality of children we serve, staff, volunteers, and contributors.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

· Administrative support for the Program Director and program staff

· General reception: answering phones, greeting visitors

· Data entry: Update volunteer contact/status information and track continuing education and background check renewals and other similar requirements

· Coordinate meeting logistics: communication, scheduling, space, food

· Support volunteer appreciation activities and correspondence

· Prepare packets and other materials for onboarding new volunteers and continued education training for existing volunteers

· Assist in reporting and oversight for CASA Program activities related to Victims’ Crime Act (VOCA), Oregon State, and other funding, including the process of submitting Crime Victims’ Compensation (CVC) applications and other requirements for these and other funding sources.

· Process distribution of information from the court, DOJ and DHS to CASA Supervisors daily

· Attend CASA U training, be sworn in by the courts, and maintain continuing education hours

· Process discovery and other documentation needed for program staff and volunteers

· Maintain digital and hard copy files

· Maintain open office hours and closing procedures

· Use Gmail, Microsoft Word for written communications, and virtual meeting platforms such as Zoom and Google Meets.

· All other duties as assigned

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $38,000.00 per year
