Job Overview

TCH is continuing to grow our Service Team and we are in search of advanced skills. We are currently looking for a Project Coordinator to join our Integrated Access Systems (IAS) Team ; this department performs installs of low voltage electronic circuits and systems for our customers in the Twin Cities area. This position requires great organization and communication skills to be able to coordinate projects while maintaining exceptional customer service.

Essential Job Functions

• Schedule technicians and subcontractors to projects based on need
• Coordinate installation projects between the customer and TCH install team to ensure we meet deadlines
• Facilitate pre construction meetings
• Create after action reviews, identify project highlights and improvement areas
• Participate in process improvement (Kaizen) events
• Schedule and facilitate weekly status update meetings with the sales, design, and lead installers
• Respond to customer service requests promptly and effectively via phone or email and write up Service Orders as needed
• Calculate job totals and assist with final billing/posting
• Update job progress and track labor hours in varied computer systems
• Organize and maintain relevant Google drive document repositories
• Attend internal and external training to increase product knowledge of the electronic security industry
• Visit job sites as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Skills Requirements

• Detail-oriented and able to prioritize multiple customer inquiries at the same time
• Self-motivated team player who can manage their time effectively with projects of varying deadlines
• Working knowledge of blueprint reading
• Basic knowledge of industry terminology and nomenclature, preferred but not required
• Basic understanding of MBC and Smartsheets
• Able to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and team to ensure great customer service
• Proficient with basic computer software in a Windows/ Google based environment
• Favorable results from a background check including Motor Vehicle Record

Working Conditions

Office environment requiring extended periods of sitting and computer work. May require visits to Warehouse or job sites subject to temperature changes and use of PPE.
