The Opportunity:
We are looking to hire a Project Manager to join our team! The Project Manager is responsible for leading business as usual projects from initiation to completion. They will build project schedules, assign tasks, manage schedules and prioritize work for cross functional teams. They will help define process design changes and optimize and streamline workflow. They are the primary liaison for any cross functional projects or initiatives. Additionally, they play a key role in implementing new initiatives and technologies to create a better guest experience. As a champion for change, success in this role will be measured by improving, documenting, and educating on process and ensuring the completion of projects on time and under budget. A successful Project Manager will also help build teams and foster a highly collaborative environment here at TCS.

Travel Opportunities: Exciting travel opportunities both domestically or internationally to attend expedition departures.
What you will be doing:
- Build schedules, assign resources, mitigate risks and issues and follow up on day-to-day project tasks.
- Facilitate regular project check in meetings to prioritize, maximize workflow and remove blockers.
- Convene internal teams across departments (and external vendors when necessary) to facilitate flawless execution of projects.
- Use principles of change management to improve existing processes and procedures.
- Lead multiple key projects and ongoing BAU cross functional programs.
- Full project lifecycle ownership including prioritization of work, scope, schedule, issue and risk management, and budget. Own project scope from initiation through implementation and closeout.
- Ensure resource availability and allocation, managing risk and escalations as appropriate.
- Manage key project documents and deliverables such as detailed project plans to track progress as well as changes in project scope, status reports, stakeholder communications and key issues management.
- Support project and initiatives staffing, identify potential workflow and/or bandwidth issues prior to launching new projects.
- Train new team members on process and workflow and across the org as needed.
- Knowledge of all company Health & Safety standards and execution of applicable responsibilities is outlined in the company Safety Management System (SMS).
What we are looking for:
- 2+ years’ project management experience or related professional experience.
- Strong value-based leadership skills.
- Bachelor’s degree a minimum, PMP certification a plus.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively and convey important information clearly and effectively.
- Experienced in various group facilitation techniques with a demonstrated ability to bring definition to ambiguity, moving initiatives forward.
- Experience managing and leading teams.
- Demonstrated success in project management including a proven track record of leading process improvements with delegation and mediation.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions.
- Strong organizational skills and proven success in a fast-paced deadline-oriented environment.
- Willingness to be hands-on and do all levels of work as needed.
- Able to work independently and in a team environment.
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365 suite, Salesforce, and Smartsheet (or similar CRM and Project Management systems) is essential.
