.AECOM is seeking a Project Manager based in Atlanta, Georgia. This position’s responsibilities includes managing the scope, schedule, and budget of various projects, under the direction of a senior-level project manager. The candidate will be responsible for GDOT major and minor bridge replacement projects throughout Georgia. Projects are delivered using procedures typical to the Georgia Department of Transportation and local Georgia governments. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

+ Manages, under the direction of Senior Manager, multiple bridge design project(s) with up to $1m contract value and $50K - $250K annual gross revenues, including planning, directing and supervising all aspects of the project financial results, client satisfaction, safety, and quality

+ Ensures projects are completed on time and within budget

+ Develops strong client relationships, both internal and external to the project team, and enhances project Performance

+ Organizes project assignments under mentorship and training of supervision of management staff

Minimum Requirements

+ BA/BS in a related field such as engineering, business management, construction management, project controls and/or related field or demonstrated equivalency of project management experience and/or education.

+ 2 years of infrastructure project management experience or similar type experience

+ Demonstration of some level of experience managing scope schedule and budget of infrastructure projects is required.

Preferred Qualifications

+ Previous experience in the management of infrastructure projects for the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT)

+ Experience with transportation projects.

+ GDOT Plan Development Process knowledge.

+ GDOT project management experience.

+ Experience managing consultant infrastructure design firms.

+ Demonstration of some level of experience managing scope schedule and budget of infrastructure projects

+ Knowledge and training with GDOT PDP process and experience managing consultant design firms is highly desired.
