WHO are we looking for?

CAPTRUST is seeking a Project Manager who will be responsible for working with users and developers in creating and maintaining functionality for internal systems. The Project Manager will be responsible for driving business requirements and facilitating acceptance testing for development projects. Primary responsibilities may include the following, among others:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collect, organize, and refine requirements for projects
  • Facilitate meetings between business users and development team
  • Make timely project decisions keeping projects on schedule and on budget
  • Maintain the product backlog with user stories and defects
  • May develop best practices, routines, and optimize processes from inception through to completion
  • Resolve conflicts between team members to keep projects moving forward
  • Track project performance and summarize to provide updates to upper-level management
  • Identify areas to improve the PM efficiency and implement necessary changes
  • Use analytical skills to identify issues/challenges and work to develop creative and scalable solutions
  • Use and continually develop leadership skills

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of applicable experience; investment industry is a plus

Desired Qualifications/Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in Agile methodology
  • Azure DevOps experience
  • Understanding of CRM Applications (Microsoft Dynamics)
  • QA/testing knowledge
  • Detail oriented and highly organized
  • Ability to handle multiple projects/work streams and adapt to a constantly changing environment
  • Ability to establish effective working relationships with all levels of staff
  • Exceptional oral and written communications skills; ability to communicate effectively
  • High standard of professionalism
