Job Overview:
As a Project Procurement Manager, you will leverage best practices to provide procurement/supply chain support for the life of multiple projects. In this role you will lead the project procurement efforts in support of Carbon Capture, Transportation, Pipeline, and/or Carbon Sequestration. You will be collaborating within innovative teams comprised of colleagues in geology, engineering, project management, safety, environmental & regulatory, accounting, and law.
This is a staff role that reports into the Sr. Procurement Manager
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Required
5+ years project procurement experience including sourcing engineered equipment and EPC contractors.
- Project procurement experience related to pipelines, oil & gas, construction, and/or carbon capture
- Experience with supplier selection, cost analysis, and negotiation
- Experience working with project managers and project engineers
- Strong analytical, computer, and interpersonal skills
- An agile worker who can adapt to shifting business needs in a fast-growing workplace
- Ability to communicate and build working relationships with a variety of stakeholders, suppliers, and contractors
- Microsoft Suite
- Strong organization skills
- ERP or MRP experience
Preferred
Sage Intacct experience- Salesforce.com CRM/Cloud Coach PPM experience
- 4 year degree in supply chain, business, science, or engineering.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Requests quotes and proposals, supports request for information process during bidding phase, evaluates bids, award contracts and purchase orders
- Analyze project scope of supply and timelines, identify long lead-time materials and procurement risks and opportunities, and market conditions.
- Create/prepare/define/apply preferred supplier lists for each project, maintaining safety, quality, timelines, and budget
- Work collaboratively within project team to track/maintain procurement budget and procurement schedule.
- Lead the request for quotes/proposal process, commercial evaluation of bids, price negotiations and coordinate contract negotiations. Calculate Total Cost of Ownership
- Expedite purchase orders through delivery
- Coordinate with freight forwarders
- Identify suppliers for materials and services, and support the development of supplier database
- Participate in supplier evaluations, participate in project evaluations/lessons learned.
- Communicate risks that appear throughout the procurement lifecycle
- Supports closing process of purchase orders/work orders
- Identify opportunities for reducing the carbon footprint within the project supply chain
General Requirements and Job Details:
- Must be able to work at a computer for at least eight hours per day
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- This position can be based out of our Lakewood, Colorado office but may need to work occasionally in Arvada, Colorado office to provide support.
- This position has a standard schedule of Monday through Friday and is Full-Time
- This is a salaried position so there may be times when a non-standard schedule is required
- This is an Exempt position with a salary range of $90,000-$115,000
