In this role, you will own driving two Independent Physician Association (IPA) success underneath the Philadelphia-wide Constitution Physicians Alliance. Focused on making the complex simple turning data into PCP level action items and, you’ll partner with Independent Physician board and committee members to make those actions happen.
Responsibilities:
Own meeting and exceeding your two IPA’s yearly budget and goals (e.g. Membership Growth, Medical Loss Ratio (MLR), Institutional and Professional Fund performance) to maximize financial performance of your IPA member physicians.
Own the execution of your two IPA’s committees and relationships - including but not limited to the Finance Committee, Utilization/Quality Management Committee and IPA Board. Success requires specific board or committee action-plans driven through Board Leaders and Key Physicians, down through individual primary care providers at the patient level.
Own network development, including physician contracting, rate negotiations, network relationships, network communication, physician recruitment, and network partnerships as well as expansion of network and products offered by Health plan partners.
Drive growth for your two IPAs both internally (by working with IPA to contract new Primary Care Physicians) and in partnership with Cigna Medicare Advantage Sales through Broker, Telesales and Field Sales efforts.
Work with Physician Leaders on IPA vision, strategy and strategy execution for your two IPAs.
Ensure your team-members and your two IPAs have what they need to succeed. The common phrase “we don’t have that information in this market” should be your call to action.
Owns oversite of contractually delegated items sub-delegated back to Cigna MA, and remediation where Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) are not met for your IPA’s.
Ensure effective bi-directional communication between the Cigna Medicare Advantage (MA) Pennsylvania market and IPA leadership on operational issues (e.g. Claims, Credentialing).
Work with a Senior Analyst, Analysts and/or Associate Analyst position
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience working in healthcare (ideally in value-based care) preferred.
Experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, matrix-driven environment
Intermediate to advanced in Excel and PowerPoint
Demonstrated ability to influence across a matrixed organization and develop trusted working partnership’s with internal and external business partners.
Exceptional executive presence in written and verbal communications. Poise in front of large, senior audiences.
Strong organizational skills necessary to accomplish a large number of tasks within a specified timeframe.
Solid judgment, creativity, and analytical skills to analyze, recommend, and improve workflows and processes.
Self-motivated, detail oriented, and willingness to adapt to tactical needs in a fast-paced, changing environment .
Travel 15% in Philadelphia, PA area and mileage will be reimbursed
