Your day.

The Psychometrician supports the activities of the psychologist in providing psychological and neuropsychological services to rehabilitation and neurological outpatients. Serving Adolescent to Geriatric patients.

• Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the specialty age groups such as Adolescent and Geriatric.
• Administers and scores standardized neuropsychological and psychological tests for patients under the supervision of a licensed psychologist.
• Documents patient care under the supervision of a licensed psychologist.
• Provides excellent customer service when responding to patient/family requests
• Provides effective teamwork, prioritization, communication, and organization
  
• Adheres to all appropriate standards of practice as outlined by the American Psychological Association, State Licensing Board, and other professionally relevant psychological bodies under the direction of the psychologist

Your experience.

We hire people, not resumes. But we also expect excellence, which is why we require:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with an emphasis in psychology, psychometrics or neuropsychology (degree will be verified) or have completed master's level course work in neuropsychological and psychological assessment The job candidate cannot be a student, postdoctoral resident, or trainee
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers

Preferred:

• Master's degree in school psychology
• Master's level coursework in psychological and neuropsychological assessment
• 1-2 years’ experience in performing neuropsychological assessment
