Job description

This position reports to the Maintenance & Project Manager, Seaside Community Development Corp. (SCDC). The position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and ensuring the proper stock of soft goods in the public restrooms, housekeeping duties and cleaning of office spaces for SCDC and shared entryways into buildings.

Responsibilities:

* Cleaning and stocking the paper goods of the public area restrooms daily, and
scheduled event venue restrooms, as needed.

* Maintaining cleanliness of outdoor public areas which include, but are not limited to,
wiping down common area tables when needed, sweeping walkways, wiping down trash
cans, and removing visible trash or litter.

* Vacuuming and trash removal of SCDC offices daily, and as needed.

* Sweeping, mopping and glass cleaning of the Post Office Lobby, daily and as needed.

* Sweeping, mopping and glass cleaning of public lobbies, daily and as needed.

* Actively communicates with direct supervisor on observed maintenance issues located
on property, as needed.

* Oversees proper storage, stocking, and control of housekeeping cart.

* Other duties as assigned.

Skills & Experience requirements:

* Ability to anticipate stocking needs in restrooms and can multitask productively.

* Excellent Customer Service skills, or good communication.

* Reliable, punctual shift attendance.

* Attention to detail.

* Ability to work with minimum supervision and a high degree of autonomy.

Working Conditions:

* Indoor, air-conditioned buildings and rooms.

* Outdoor heat, rain, wind.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $21.40 per hour
