ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The following are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.

• Establish vendor contacts
• Generate quotes/manage availability requests
• Generate purchase orders
• Monitor inventory levels and determine purchasing needs to maintain consistent stock levels
• Maintain records of vendor communication
• Coordinate transportation
• Assist other departments as needed

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5+ years of related work experience (purchasing, inventory management, etc.)
• Experience in manufacturing environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Basic computer skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 5+ years of related work experience (purchasing, inventory management, etc.)
• 3+ Experience in manufacturing environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Basic computer skills

Compensation

Competitive salary for this position, with an anticipated range of $60,000-65,000 will be commensurate with prior experience.

Physical Demands of Critical Job Functions

• Must have the ability to lift objects up to 50 lbs.
• Must have the ability to quickly identify and respond to dangerous situations or safety hazards.
• This job may require pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, reaching overhead, reaching at or below shoulder level, bending at the knees and/or kneeling.

Pay: $59,143.28 - $66,060.99 per year
