Job Summary:

As a Purchasing Project Analyst, you must be meticulous with processes and organizational skills. It is necessary to come into the position with an understanding of accounting and business operations principles as you will be responsible for cost allocation and procurement analytics. It is also essential to have a customer service-oriented attitude while communicating with both internal and external stakeholders.


Essential Job Functions:

  • Meet the needs of internal stakeholders and budgetary goals.
  • Operate with a customer service orientated and operational mindset.
  • Establish working relationships with external vendors.
  • Coordinate purchase orders throughout the full lifecycle.
  • Manage and verify external contractor along with task report.
  • Product sourcing.
  • Coordinate and track equipment rentals.
  • Procurement and tracking of capital projects.
  • Confirm receiving reports for payable transactions.
  • Work on special projects encompassing the goal of continuous operational improvement.
  • Create reports for management to ensure organizational goals are met.
  • All other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Accounting, Industrial Engineer, or related field preferred.
  • The individual will need to be extremely well organized, meticulous, and willing to comply fully with the processes and policies of the company.
  • An excellent customer service attitude is especially important for this position.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications – including DynamicsGP preferred.
  • Understanding of GL coding and accruals.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as strong computer and analytical skills.
  • You must be able to multitask in a fast paced, collaborative environment while demonstrating persistence and critical thinking skills.
  • Must be able to perform all job duties of the position. Must be able to lift 50 lbs., reach, bend, twist and lift above the head. Also, must be able to work in various climate conditions.
  • Must be able to work occasional weekends and holidays as needed.
