NOW SEEKING: Quality Control Lab Technician
TECH 2000 is currently seeking lab technician candidates for a position at a client's polymer manufacturing facility in the Geismar, LA area.
Major Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Conduct various wet chemistry and physical-analytical skills – KF, moisture analysis, particle size, density, viscosity, etc. Some analytical testing, such as GC.
- Maintain a safe working environment by following established health and safety or chemical hygiene requirements.
Qualifications/Competencies:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or other related Science field. Consideration will be given to applicable years of experience, in lieu of Degree.
- Strong adherence to Quality and safety.
- 6+ months of industrial experience with various instrumental analysis and wet chemistry testing in a manufacturing laboratory, preferred R&D. 1+ years’ experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize work assignments and meet time-sensitive deadlines.
- Strong communication skills are required with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

- Shift – 12hr Rotating Schedule
- Location – Baton Rouge, LA
- Pay - $28-35/hr
