The IMA Group is seeking to hire an experienced Quality Assurance Specialist for the Payer Services Division.

This is a full-time remote position. The position purpose is to assure that all reports and addenda are reviewed for accuracy, completeness and format.

We are not accepting applications from Colorado, Washington or California states at this time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review all IME reports, addenda, peer reviews, functional capacity reports, return to work forms and all other reports generated by our providers to ensure all quality assurance expectations are met.
  • Process revision and correction requests Keep clients, attorneys, nurses and supervisors updated regularly on report status.
  • Analyze and solve client issues quickly and efficiently in a fast paced environment.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and streamlined communication to clients, physicians, attorneys, nurses and injured workers regarding all matters relating to the IME process.
  • Daily monitoring of hearing and report due date calendars in order to ensure all reports with deadlines are released in a timely manner.
  • Interact with doctors to ensure all reports are completed in a timely manner and meet quality assurance standards

Education

  • Associates degree, required
  • Bachelors degree, preferred


Experience


  • 1-3 years of related experience in claims management or quality assurance, with a minimum of 1 year experience in workers compensation claims, required.

Annual salary starting at $50,000.00
