The Opportunity (temporary):
In this job, you are an expert for JR in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), JR's residential treatment model, and will support the development and growth of DBT in JR, aply the principles of DBT through an evaluative process, and provide ongoing feedback to improve statewide residential programming for JR. You will develop assessment tools mirroring the standards for treatment for DBT as well as support development of other quality assurance efforts within JR. You support the administration and local sites to follow policy and standards as it relates to evidence based, research based and promising programs for juvenile offenders by directing and supporting the implementation of JR's Rehabilitation model through standard development and quality improvement plans. This is a unique job that has many different stages of progressions, in order to successfully perform the job tasks assigned. This job reports to the Performance Manager and Quality Assurance Administrator.

Some of what you will do:
  • Lead programs and process improvements for administration work guiding both strategic and tactical program development, and develop reports to executive leadership as to model fidelity and implementation plans.
  • Compile, analyze and summarize adherence data state wide submitting reports for executive leadership as well as consult with local programs for quality improvement.
  • Provide ongoing quality assessments for implementation and maintenance of adherence in residential and community programs.
  • Provide behaviorally specific, model focused feedback to program managers, unit teams, and administrators or designees on quality assurance outcomes.
  • Participate in quality improvement meetings across residential programs to support improvement plans and alliance within the model.
  • Support effective communication related to QA/CQI practices.
  • Design, develop and monitor Standards and assessment as it relates to Dialectical Behavior Therapy and different modes of treatment including reentry plan quality assurance.
  • Provide essential communication, consultation; expert assistance and policy direction to institutions and community facility leaders of model adherence and quality improvement.
  • Analyze data and develop reports for management to improve process of delivery of services.
  • Responsible for scoring and analyzing data for the different modes of treatment under the Rehabilitation Model.
  • Perform basic data entry and retrieval functions.

What we are looking for:
Someone who enjoys and is comfortable working with people, providing technical assistance and training, managing projects, and has experience designing, developing and monitoring Standards and assessment.

The minimum requirements for this job include:
A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education, in Public Administration, Social Sciences or a closely allied field, AND one year of professional experience in treatment intervention and administration in a social services organization.
OR
An equivalent combination of education and experience totaling five years.

Degree must be obtained from an accredited college or university whose accreditation is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA), or foreign equivalent verified by a NACES-approved organization at naces.org .

Foreign Equivalency certification must be attached to the application for degrees obtained outside the U.S. Incomplete applications may be screened out of the recruitment process.

In addition to those required qualifications, our ideal applicant will also have some or all of the following abilities:
  • A Master’s Degree from an accredited institution of higher education, in Public Administration, Social Sciences or a closely allied field, AND two years of professional experience in treatment intervention and administration in a social services organization.
  • Previous demonstrated ability to write and speak clearly and effectively in a professional objective manner; network and communicate effectively with a variety of groups and agencies.
  • Ability to work independently or within a team while exercising good judgement and promoting positive working relationships with youth, families, staff and stakeholders.
