Purpose of Position:

This position requires assuring requirements for product support and quality management system support are held as directed by the Quality Manager

Responsibilities

• Conduct monthly testing of Class 7 & 8 cleanrooms according to established procedure, including particle counts, filer flow, and viable sampling
• Prepare Certificates of Compliance and additional QA documentation as needed to meet customer requirements
• Provide support for corrective/preventive action process, including performance of effectivity audits, as directed by QA Manager
• Create and maintain Receiving Inspection Standards
• Have the ability to perform first article, Cpk, and validation measurements using various measurement equipment
• Support process validation, including logistic aspects, as directed by QA Manager
• Have the ability to operate and program the Nikon Vision System, as required
• Evaluate QA procedure for conformance to quality and routing standards
• Implement corrective action to bring procedure parameters to within tolerance
• Lead Failure Review Board as directed by QA Manager
• Understand and follow quality-related standards and documentation

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required as a minimum
• Must be comfortable with meticulous record-keeping and aseptic sampling methods for testing Class 7 cleanrooms
• Must understand basic math, including Metric/English conversions, charts, graphs, linear measurement, etc.
• Must have advanced understanding of print schematics/blueprints
• Must understand metrology
• Must be able to operate computers & software (e.g. MS Word, Excel) required for completion of duties
• Must be comfortable with troubleshooting/problem solving
• Must be able to work with the pressure of deadlines
• Must demonstrate excellent organizational, time management and follow-up skills
• Must be comfortable with on-the-job training, cross-training and training others
• Must be able to work well with others as well as independently, exploring and sharing ways to improve efficiency
• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills with high degree of professionalism and correct grammar usage
• Must be able to read, comprehend, and carry out very detailed instructions, both written and oral
• Must be detail-oriented, accurate, consistent, thorough, neat, able to recognize material damage/flaws, and punctual
• Must be able to maintain satisfactory attendance record and work overtime hours as needed
• Must demonstrate commitment to workplace safety

Physical Demands

Requires good hand/eye coordination, use of fine manipulation with hands and fingers, close/color vision, minimal fumes, moderate noise, moderate lifting, bending and stooping, standing and sitting
