JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Title: QUALITY CONTROL SPECIALIST/ EIV COORDINATOR
SUMMARY: This position is primarily responsible for processing recertification changes and performing quality control file reviews. Functions as coordinator for departmental compliance with Enterprise Income
Verification (EIV) policies regarding report timeliness and tenant information security. Conducts file audits and prepares reports for management regarding quality control findings; Reports to the Lease
Admissions Coordinator.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Maintain EIV security information for HUD audits. Ensure Section 8 employees are properly trained on the EIV system and regularly monitors for new EIV requirements/annual training.
- Review EIV audit reports for error correction – Deceased Tenant, Duplicate Tenant, Income
Discrepancy, etc. Process the 120 Day Review on all new move-in files and complete any necessary actions required if discrepancy found.
- Conduct quality control audits of Section 8 admission and recertification files; Verify accuracy and completion of family information, income verification, inspection dates, etc.; Maintain report/log of errors identified and error percentage rates; Report errors to appropriate supervisor.
- Confer with client employers, organizations, and others to confirm client information and when questions arise regarding validation of information.
- Assist in processing approval of 50058 calculations for admissions and annual reexaminations;
Process transfers upon new lease completion; Post for payment. Distributes rent change letters to landlords and tenants; Processes landlord payment adjustments on monthly check runs.
- Process all Termination 50058, updates Yardi and post any adjustments to HAP/URP for check run.
- Conduct SEMAP file audits as required.
- Prepare memos (Tips/Tidbits) to update departmental employees of HUD policy changes/updates;
Review routine errors and solutions identified in the quality control process.
- Assist with training of new employees as necessary.
- Work with Authority inspectors, compliance specialists, and others to ensure coordination of program administration.
- Perform various clerical duties including typing, filing and data entry; Prepare and maintain necessary files, records, and reports.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education diploma (GED) preferably supplemented by some college level training in sociology, psychology, or a related field, with two to three years of experience in public contact/case management work, preferably dealing with low-income families; or equivalent combination of training, education and experience.
REQUIRED LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, STIPULATIONS: Must possess and maintain a valid Georgia driver’s license, proof of personal auto insurance, and a driving record acceptable to the Authority’s insurance carrier. Must be available to work overtime as business dictates.

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
